## Start in Ableton

1. Create a blank Ableton Live 12 Set and set the tempo shown above.
2. Drag `Full_Arrangement.mid` into Arrangement View. If Live asks, import the tempo.
3. Confirm the imported tracks are named Kick, Clap, Closed Hat, Open Hat, Percussion, Sub Bass, Mid Bass, Chords, Pluck, Arp, Lead, and Atmos Cue.
4. Apply the stock-device recipes from `RACKS_AND_ROUTING.md`.
5. Use the Atmos Cue notes as placeholders for risers, impacts, noise, and field textures, then mute or replace the MIDI track.
6. Save with **File → Save Live Set as Template** to make it available in Live’s Templates browser.

## Production Priorities

- Replace MIDI placeholder sounds before detailed mixing.
- Keep the sub mono and clean below approximately 120 Hz.
- Treat the mid-bass and pluck as complementary rhythmic layers, not simultaneous full-spectrum leads.
- Use the kick ghost sidechain trigger for consistent ducking even when the audible kick changes.
- Automate macro controls across sections instead of adding many unrelated devices.
- Create at least one eight-bar variation in each 16- or 32-bar phrase.
